You must wake up

You live in a castle, solid only in your mind, until an earthquake reduces it to rubble. You struggle to rebuild it, but what was once home is now just a shadow, a distant echo of something that no longer exists.
The memory of those walls holds you back, feeding the illusion that, perhaps, one day, that entire castle could become reality. That illusion is a gilded prison; staying inside means condemning yourself to an endless wait. Wake up. You have already suffered enough, you have fought against time and against reality, creating blinders that prevented you from seeing the harm.
You have given everything you had, but some things, even the most precious, are destined to fade away.
You must come to terms; there is nothing you can do about it.
